Inside The Studio: Across Borders

This program explores the significance of artists' studios as spaces of clarity, inspiration, failure, and solace. Studios, whether solitary or collaborative, are where creation happens and serve as an entry point for building relationships between artists and arts organizations. Hear from Art21 staff and artists working in Saudi Arabia about the value of studio visits within the broader art community.

The program begins with an introduction to the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale and Art21, followed by a film screening of "Studio Boom" by Diana Al-Hadid. The session concludes with a conversation featuring an artist selected by the Biennale staff and two Art21 staff members from curatorial, production, or programming.
