The Introductory meeting, introduces participants the book titled "Journey to Mecca" by Dr. Murad Hoffman, which can be purchased at the Biennale Design Store.
This session will introduce the central themes of the book, which explores faith and perseverance. Dr. Hoffman examines Islam in practice, what it means to live by its principles and how others respond to that commitment.
In the second meeting, an open discussion will take place about the novel’s impact, themes, and narrative elements. Participants will also compare the book "Journey to Mecca" to the artwork “What I heard in the valley” by Bilal Allaf present at AlMidhallah, drawing connections between the two works and their storytelling approaches.
