About the event
Program Days:
Fri, May 2, 2025, 3:00–7:00 PM
Sat, May 3, 2025, 3:00–7:00 PM
In this creative workshop, participants will immerse themselves in the ancient wisdom of plants, exploring how food art can preserve and reinterpret this knowledge. Across generations, communities recognized the healing and nourishing powers of plants, embedding this wisdom into culinary rituals and daily practices. Today, much of that knowledge is at risk of fading. Through a focus on food design, the workshop invites participants to see plants not only as sources of nourishment, but also as catalysts for creativity. Using plant-based materials, they will experiment with taste, texture, and form to create visually striking, multi-sensory pieces that honor the plant world. The result is edible art that tells new stories, deepens our relationship with nature, and celebrates food as a powerful artistic medium.
Language: English
What will you learn?
Participants will engage in hands-on activities, using food as both medium and message, to develop modern rituals that reconnect us with ancient practices.
Who is it for?
This workshop is for those interested in tablescaping, food design, and plants.
