About the event
In this workshop, participants will tell stories through fabric, thread, and ink. Inspired by Islamic motifs, they'll explore mixed-media textile collages, combining embroidery, pattern-making, and printing to create a unique piece that blends heritage with modern expression.
What will you learn?
Participants will learn basic and advanced hand-stitching techniques, using embroidery to highlight key motifs within the collage. They will also gain an understanding of composition and layout in textile art.
