Soul Without a Body: Exploring Memory Through Collage

This workshop explores how memory, both lived and inherited, shapes our sense of place. It is led by artists Zaina and Madina, who share roots in the Caucasus but live different realities. Madina remains in the region, while Zaina carries its memory from afar. Participants will reflect on how distance and presence shape storytelling. Using collage, they will create visual interpretations of memories passed down to them — stories they have heard but never lived, shaped by imagination, history, and belonging.
