About the event
This workshop explores the Islamic Biennale theme through the lens of wave phenomena. Participants will observe a live capillary wave demonstration using a bowl of water, then create a colored pencil illustration inspired by a selected water image. Reflecting on waves, both literal and metaphorical, they’ll consider those that have shaped their surroundings. The workshop concludes with brief presentations of each participant’s work and insights.

Participants will explore wave types through a live demonstration and connect them to personal and environmental reflections. They will also learn to translate these ideas into visual form using colored pencil techniques.
