About the event
In this workshop, contemporary artist Reem Al-Nasser presents her research on ancient Assyrian protection strategies through food in northern Saudi Arabia, inspired by astronomy, specifically the Summer Triangle, a star formation that reveals the navigational practices of ancient civilizations.
She embodies this concept by preparing a traditional recipe called "AlBukayla," an ancient dish made with Samh flower as a preservative for food protection. The theme of protection is further explored through the displayed in "AlMadar" and the equestrian collection in "AlMuqtani".
Language: Arabic
