Discovering Art Processes: A Portfolio Review Session

Founder of the photo book publishing house Makan Press, Artist Ibi Ibrahim welcomes participants into an open "studio-like" space nestled in the Biennale’s Library. Surrounded by works printed on expired photographic paper, as well as books and objects that inform his process, Ibrahim will share his analog approach to printing. His darkroom experimentation blurs the lines between image, print, and painting.

Participants will be invited to bring their own work, references, and materials; from books and objects to sketches and portfolios. This drop-in format offers a space for open conversation, feedback, and reflection on artistic practice in a setting shaped by mutual exchange.
