Kitchen Sessions: Bridging Art and Food with Seasonal and Ancient Flavors

About the event

This immersive hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the profound connection between mind, body, and soul. It draws inspiration from the chef's art picks from the Biennale. Chef Yasmin Hamza will share her knowledge on seasonality and how ancient foods shape modern cuisine, drawing inspiration from AlMidhallah's artworks.

What will you learn?
Participants will make Smoked Brown Butter Saleeg and try Hibiscus and Black Tea Gimlet with ginger, spiced roasted fruits, and fermented banana skin syrup.

Who is it for?
This is for anyone who loves cooking and wants to learn about food’s cultural and seasonal roots, as well as its healing properties.
