About the event
This workshop explores the deep connection between memory, flavor, and place. Chef Marya guides participants through a multi-sensory cooking and tasting journey, inspired by Fatima Abdulhadi’s artwork in AlMidhallah and her own recollections of Raehan (basil) as a childhood memory—an experience later echoed in AlUla. Marya will bring this connection to life through a unique multi sensory culinary experience, with multiple basil infused recipes and a Haissa making journey.

Participants will learn about prophetic foods and their properties, cultivate creativity in using herbs in the kitchen, deepen the connection with food as a spiritual practice and be bale to enjoy a multi-sensory experience creating a dessert Haissa, a traditional date dish
