In this workshop, children embark on a creative and meaningful journey inspired by the iconic umbrellas of Al Masjid an Nabawi. Through an eight-session series, participants will design, build, and code their own replicas of the famous shaded structures.

This unique program introduces children to the world of STEAM through activities in 3D modeling, coding, digital drawing, and more. Blending cultural inspiration with modern technology, the workshop encourages creativity, critical thinking, and innovation.

Children are required to attend all 8 sessions as part of a cohesive journey; drop-in attendance is not available.

What will you learn?

Children will engage in digital drawing, design Islamic patterns, and use TinkerCAD to create 3D models inspired by the Madinah shade pillars. They’ll also learn basic robotics by programming motors, lights, and sensors to build models that replicate the umbrellas’ opening and closing mechanism.
