About the event
For this sonic walkthrough, Zai Tang plays work-in-progress material from his forthcoming album, a work inspired by the melodies, timbres, rhythms, and atmospheres of the tropical wild. Created primarily from transformed field recordings, his set navigates pathways between ambient soundscapes and experimental electronic grooves—an attempt to hold space for human bodies to attune to more-than-human life via sound.
