For Wall Extract (Riyadh) (2024), Vikram Divecha has removed a section of wall from a structure in AlOud, Riyadh that was slated for demolition, located in the courtyard.

This 'Social Gathering', the first of two, explores Wall Extract (Riyadh) as a starting point for an expansive and ongoing sociocultural mapping of time and place, incorporating stories of the history of the area, processes of creating the work, and myriad ways of excavating meaning from it. Through readings, conversations, social relations, and interactions, we gather around the wall to create new stories, and associations.
