Storytelling Session

What you will gain: NJOKOBOK Bar is activated by a series of storytelling sessions, which are inspired by the Arabic traditions of popular literature and the role of the hakawati. Hakawati means “storyteller” in Arabic who culture and tradition pass through from generation to generation. Different hakawatis are invited to share meaningful stories that convey their respective cultural traditions.

Our hakawati this week is Lani Monroy, a wellness coach from Guatemaya. Join us as she delves into the ancient tradition of the Mayan Cacao Ceremony, a practice deeply rooted in Meso-American heritage.
