Photo Embroidery: Stitching the Islamic Garden

This workshop invites participants to explore the Islamic garden through photo embroidery. Using simple stitching techniques, participants will add traditional Islamic motifs like lotuses and roses to printed images. The workshop connects to the Biennale's theme "And All That Is In Between", encouraging participants to see the garden as a space for reflecting on both the earthly and the heavenly.

Requirements:
Participants are required to bring their own printed photos of the Islamic Garden or personal landscape images. Alternatively, they may submit their photos via this email (https://shorturl.at/l3D1t) at least three days before the workshop to ensure timely printing. Otherwise, a generic image will be provided.

What will you learn?
Participants will embroider onto images of artworks in AlMidhallah or their own personal photographs.
