In this activation, participants will engage in a large-scale interactive fabric painting activity on a fabric measuring approximately 47.5 meters—the same length as the cloth covering the Ka'bah’s exterior beneath the Kiswah. This symbolic connection serves as a profound source of inspiration, drawing from the spiritual essence of the Ka'bah, the vibrant atmosphere of Ramadan, and the richness of Islamic culture. Artist Ahmed Bawazeer, known as "BAWA," will lay down the base lines, guiding participants as they assist in painting the fabric. Once completed, the painted fabric will be transformed into tote bags with food and distributed as Eid gifts to families in need, in collaboration with the Subha Community.
Kindly note that this program will take place on a first-come, first-served basis.
What will you learn?
Participants will engage in a communal activity painting fabric and being a part of a good cause for Eid.
Who is it for?
This is for anyone interested in art, social impact، and community engagement.
