Dr. Ali Bakr Hassan is an Associate Professor at Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With a diverse academic background, he holds two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. in Early Islamic Studies, International Relations, and Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and UCLA. He has taught extensively in the US and the Middle East, covering Islamic history, world civilization, and Arabic language studies. Beyond teaching, he has a decade of experience managing Arabic and Islamic Studies collections at major US universities, including UC Berkeley, Brown University, and Ohio State University. Dr. Ali Bakr Hassan is also a published author, having written four books on Islamic history, American history, and Arab emigrant literature. His research includes articles on the role of Arabic in Medieval Europe, contributing valuable insights into the historical and cultural impact of the Arabic language.
