About the event

This talk introduces the book "The Wilderness Companion" by Khunfus Publishing, a guide to the ethnobotanical histories of common flora and fauna in the different landscapes of Saudi Arabia. Revisiting parts of the research journey that led to writing this book, Maria Alem, Co-founder and Editor at Khunfus Publishing, highlights select plants and looks into their histories and cultural usages, including in recipes.
