Two-Day Workshop - From Reef to Relief

In this workshop, participants will explore the relationship between coral formations and the architectural design of the Islamic Art Biennale buildings, drawing inspiration from the ecological and symbolic layers of the Islamic garden. Under the canopy of AlMidhallah, this hands-on session invites participants to engage with nature as both form and philosophy. Using silicone caulk, they will learn to create molds that replicate the textures of coral, urging them to consider sustainability, repair, and interconnectedness in both art and architecture.
