About the event
Program Days:

Sat, April 26, 2025, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
In this masterclass, participants will explore the poetic interplay between metal, image, and shadow, transforming personal illustrations into embossed metal artworks that tell intimate, layered stories.
Drawing inspiration from favorite people, objects, animals, or plants, each participant will imagine a figure or symbol that will be translated into metal. From there, they will learn how to draw directly onto metal, cut and emboss it with care and precision, and create an opening within the piece in which their own handmade illustration will be inserted.
Throughout the process, participants will receive individualized guidance and will be introduced to both the practical and conceptual dimensions of working with metal as a storytelling medium. The masterclass concludes with a focus on final finishes and details, culminating in a shared reflection where each participant’s piece will be presented and discussed.
