Material Potential of the Date Palm

About the event

In this workshop, participants will transform palm-waste fibers into eco-friendly paper. They’ll learn simple pulping and sheet-forming techniques adapted for palm fronds, discover the fibers’ natural strength and texture, and explore creative applications. By the end, they’ll leave with their own handcrafted sheets and a fresh appreciation for sustainable design.

Participants will learn the fundamental process of transforming natural fibers into paper, from pulping and sheet formation to finishing touches.
