Community Artwork: Wood Carving

In this hands-on wood carving activity, participants will carve their own design onto a wooden panel. Pre-designed 15cmx15cm patterns will be printed and adhered to the panels, allowing visitors to choose from the available designs or create their own geometric pattern. An artisan will provide demonstrations on the carving techniques needed to bring the design to life. 

The final artwork will be a collage of individually carved wooden tiles, reflecting the collective creativity of all visitors.

What will you learn?
Participants will learn how to carve geometric designs inspired by AlHejaz, experimenting with different textures and patterns.

This activity is for anyone who enjoys hands-on creativity and exploring traditional wood carving. No prior experience is needed.
