Step into the mesmerizing world of glassblowing with our introductory workshop. This hands-on session will guide you through the foundational techniques of shaping and inflating hollow glass to create a charming spice or condiment bowl for your table.

What you will gain: In this workshop, you will:

- Learn the correct methods for inflating and blowing glass to achieve the desired form.
- Explore the art of shaping hollow glass using flame control and gravity.
- Master the finishing touches to complete a hollow glass piece.
Notes
Safety Guidelines: Dress Conveniently: Cotton clothes are the way to go since they’re less flammable. Steer clear of synthetic abayas and thawbs. Please ensure your clothing fits snugly, especially with long sleeves, to minimize risks and ensure your safety. Aprons Provided: You will be provided with an apron that must be worn at all times in the studio to protect your clothing. Jewelry and Watches: Please remove any dangling jewelry and bulky watches to prevent accidents during the workshop. Hair Safety: If you have long hair, we ask that you tie it back securely. Footwear: Closed, covered shoes are a must – no flip flops or sandals allowed. Avoid Perfume: Please refrain from wearing perfume during the workshop as it is flammable.
