The work is part of an ongoing dialogue with the communities of Salinas Grandes y Laguna de Guayatayoc Basin in Argentina, initiated in 2017. Using archival footage dating from 2006 onwards, it chronicles the record-breaking, fuel-free flight of the Aerocene Pacha hot-air balloon, shown lifting off from the salt flats of the Salinas Grandes, as well as the struggle of local and Indigenous communities against prospective Lithium mining.
