Fatema Al Fardan and Zuhoor Al Sayegh are interdisciplinary artists from Abu Dhabi. Al Sayegh explores indigenous textile practices and its links to the human body. Al Fardan explores the construction of femininity within socio-cultural strata. They have exhibited at various venues in the UAE and abroad and were awarded the Sheikha Salama bint Hamdan Emerging Artists Fellowship. The artists have worked collaboratively for the past two years studying date palms.
