Blown glass beads created with borosilicate glass are a modern take on an ancient process. Moving off the mandrel an into blown glass. Safety Guidelines: Dress Conveniently: Cotton clothes are the way to go since they’re less flammable. Please steer clear of synthetic abayas and thawbs. Aprons Provided: You will be provided with an apron that must be worn at all times in the studio to protect your clothing. Jewelry and Watches: Please remove any dangling jewelry and bulky watches to prevent accidents during the workshop. Hair Safety: If you have long hair, we ask that you tie it back securely. Footwear: Closed, covered shoes are a must – no flip flops or sandals allowed. Avoid Perfume: Please refrain from wearing perfume during the workshop as it is flammable.
