Nasser Alturki
Nasser Al-Turki is a Saudi visual artist who was born in Hail in 1971, where he began his journey of reflection and research in art.
He then moved to complete his university studies in Riyadh, specializing in physics and electronics, to add to his artistic experience a duality based on aesthetic sensitivity and scientific knowledge, from which he broke through the barriers that separate reality and imagination to intervene in the reformulation of forms by reconsidering their relationship with each other.
His artistic journey was between various styles from painting and sculpture to conceptual installations.
He deconstructed his scenes to reassemble them in a way that harmonizes with his outlook on life and composed his vocabulary as if he had borrowed it from nothing.
The Turk did not do more than stand between the metaphor and its origins, which are the sources of inspiration, so his images appeared as if they were the result of a laboratory creation process in which the artist labored to use his tools in order to reach their ideal form.
He follows secret ways to reach the meaning of human existence, exploding the energy of the artistic elements from within to be faithful to them as they rework the cosmic scenes that he is passionate about.
Nasser Al-Turki has made many contributions to the Saudi Art Center and represented it in many international cultural and artistic exhibitions and conferences. He is an artistic advisor to some private parties, obtained a certificate in the evaluation of artworks from Sotheby's has been an artistic curator on many art exhibitions since 2011, and has many holdings in various important places inside and outside the Kingdom.
